Camchain tensioner damper rubbers

#1 PostAuthor: steve452 » Sun Aug 23, 2020 11:06 am

Have just ordered new damper rubbers etc for the tensioner on my Z1-B. The existing ones seem to be stuck on to the rollers. Did Kawasaki use some sort of adhesive or do you just position them with something like gasket cement before install?

They shouldn't be glued on but they eventually do stick with old oil and heat etc.
Just position the new ones with a dab of grease to hold them in position.
