Thanks for the info. The bike I have started life as a KZ and must have been imported from the US at some point. Don't suppose you know the part numbers for the Suzi O rings or who might sell them? The CMS website shows them on the diag but the part detail section is missing for some reason. Cheerss

Not getting anal about it just ensuring the thread has accurate info. I don't need to contact Dave, I KNOW from all the B1's I have worked on and restored. From the three B1's in this thread the owners have found all three to have O Rings.
From my 1976 Kawasaki workshop manual. As I said, B1's definatley had O rings, later models did not.

Cmsnl are known to get it wrong occasionally. Even the pic posted is not correct for non o ring 650 coulplings. 650 non o ring couplings didn't have ridged rubber sleeves. They were solid "plastic" of some sort with two rigdes each side to emulate o rings.
The pic I posted was from a Kawasaki manual who had the correct parts and info to hand as they were the manufacturers not third party parts suppliers.
Both my bikes have identicle to the pic I posted.

I'm taking an interest in this thread - the joining pipes between the carbs on my Z1A seem to turn a little too easily - I haven't tried putting petrol in the carbs yet, but I do worry that it will pour out of these connectors. Like the Z650, the Z1A parts book doesn't show separate O rings.

Maybe they'll swell up with fuel, or were never a very tight fit, I've still to find out.

Yup Warren, the fuel linkage pieces I have with O rings are identicle to the one in the Kwak manual picture for the B1. Matt

Keith, were they 24's or 22's can you recall? Both of mine are 24's. Just wondering if 22's are the same? I cant imagine mikuni would have changed anything other than throat size between the two sets.

That's them exactly....except my O rings were quite distorted with age. Once you take carbs apart and disturb them they are bound to leak..
