z1 runs crap with tank on

hi all set z1 up with remote bottle been doin this for 3 ish months on and off yes oldish fuel but running good ticking over fine even moved bottle to approx btm of tank height on the bars running great.original fuel tap and the same as what i have seen on here leaking managed to sort that but it flows better out of one outlet than the other messed about for ages can't suss that out .anyway put inline filters on and checked this off the bike coming out kind of ok but not even, put it on the bike starts up fine on choke then runs crap.1 and 2 cylinders mad hot 3 and 4 not that hot struggling to tick over.am i right in thinking its the tap or summat else now the tank is on.is the best way to put the clear pipe on carb 1 to see if its staying full while running.the original tap hasn't got one of those white filters over the reserve hole thats why i put inline filters on.

perhaps the fuel lines are bent up and thus trapping air in the filters...perhaps reroute the fuel lines if possible.

hi phillipe do you think as i do its definitely a fuel problem and does the gauze in the tap do a good enough job to stop crap getting into the carbs.

Should flow equally out of both tap outlets. Lower flow one maybe partially blocked on its inlet as the filter is missing.
I think i would hook up a long pipe on that outlet first, swicth the tap on and blow down the pipe to try to dislodge any blockage. Just remember to have the pipe above the fuel level when blowing or be ready for a tot in of 95 oct!

As already mentioned the flow from tap outlets should be equal, if the tank is on try running with the cap open in case the breather is blocked.
