#1 PostAuthor: Rogsz1g » Thu May 27, 2021 11:50 am

Help required. It's been ages since stripping this Z1000G motor and need guidance re correct location of the gear selector pins. The copy of the manual I have specifies the location of the longest of the pins but the picture isn't clear as to which hole it is. 7 hole and 6 pins ??
Also can anyone condirm what if anything should fit in the threaded hole A and plain hole B in the attached photographere. Cheers any help gratefully received.

I believe A and B are used to fit the gear selector shaft when it is a shaft drive configuration.

the longer pin locates into the back of the pin retainer disc so the neutral earth on the disc is in the correct position
