Hi Guys ,
Once again I am scratching my head and wondering is this correct ?
I have managed to re-commission my KZ ready for an mot .

Just to recap , she's a barn find ( been sat up since 1982 only 509 miles on clock )
However having run around the block a couple times maybe 4 miles , I notice when I get home that the engine seems to run very hot ! ( Yeah I know it's air cooled ! )
However I have just pointed my infrared thermo at it and it's reading 85 degrees on cam covers , and 106 on spark plugs .
Is this normal ?
Everything sounds sweet , she pulls nicely no knocks or bangs .

Engine wise all I have done is drop the sump off clean out , new filter and oil .
carbs had ultrasonic clean & rebuilt with new diaphrams etc .

Am I worrying about nothing ? are big air cooled motors known to run at these temperatures ?? :( :(

Thanks in advance
