Rear Brake Pedal Bracket

Hi All,

Just on with a full strip and rebuild of my A1 and have noticed that the mounting boss for the rear brake pedal appears to be bent, see photos below.

The thing is, when I fit the brake pedal it doesn’t look like it’s displaced. So, it may seem an odd question but should this boss be at an angle or is it out with the warming gear?

Don't know if this is any help but just took a pic of my A1

Took the measurement from the centre of the pedal mounting thread to the centre of the lower front footrest mounting thread and it appears to be 95mm.....as long as mine ain't bent!

Hi Pete,

Just to let you know that the measurement taken on your bike at 95mm was 102mm on my bike so I heated it up and put it back to where it should be.

Hi,

It’s not a crack I’ve checked it.

Kawasaki only welded that bracket on top and bottom and left the ends un welded.

Well spotted though.

I’m pretty sure it won’t fall off.
