Met a Z1OC member at Ace Cafe a few weeks ago and he said I should join and put my bike up for sale here... not a Z1, but close enough I hope.

I bought this years ago without any police items on it as a commuting hack and then decided to get it back to its former glory, so I got all the panniers including a top pannier, red/ blue lights, siren, radio, full windscreen etc. I rode around London for a few years having fun in traffic.

Then I decided to strip it down to cafe racer/ brat style, with small seat, big LED headlight, straight bars, vintage Lucas 'bullet' indicators and rear light etc, but in such a way that it can easily be returned to full dresser spec.
The pictures show how it is now, but all the ancillaries will come with it so you can either ride it like it is, or dress it back up and make it look like in the last picture. I have too many bikes and this now needs to go.
It runs great, stops great, good tyres, brakes and shocks. No leaks, no funny noises. It is an eye catcher and a discussion piece, and from January 2022 a historic vehicle so no tax or MOT needed anymore. It has a valid MOT and tax at the moment, so you can ride it to test - subject to insurance.
I have some history before my ownership, but the majority will be from when I owned it. Internet searches on engine and frame number reveal that it was Newark Police bike, even though the tank decal is CHiP's....
Bike lives in N3 3NL. Comes with old silver Nolan police helmet and an original service manual. V5 is in my name.
A few more detail pics can be supplied upon request, but I have only one that shows it in 'dress spec'. I can take pics of the police ancillaries, but they will not be on the bike. Last picture is as it can be, I have the two white spotlights as well as a red and blue ones.
I have advertised for £4250, but am open to reasonable offers.
