Indicator relay switch - KZ900 A4 LTD 1976
Hi there, I’m currently restoring my bike and don’t know whereabouts on the bike the indicator relay switch unit is situated as it didn’t have one when I got it.. any clues please?!
Re: Indicator relay switch - KZ900 A4 LTD 1976
not sure about the LTD but the A4 had 2 relays - 1 either side.
1 for the indicators and one for the 4 way flashing
have a look on cmsnl.com for exploded diagrams.

if you mean the actual switch to turn them on

I would say the round rubber support that holds the flasher relay fits over the end of this tang

Hi guys
correct me if I'm wrong please but the KZ900Ltd didn't had the button to illuminate the four indicators at once.
The official name was KZ900B1 Ltd and not KZ900A4 Ltd. I know it's a detail but when searching for parts you need the correct name of the bike.
Gus has pointed out the correct place to mount the relay.

Hi there, thanks for all your help on this... I've got a firm answer now, I know where the point is on the frame. John

The '76 A4's had two "indicator" relays.
The picture with the circled item on is where the hazard indicator lives & the normal turn indicator relay lives behind the left-hand side panel, just near the seat lock barrel.
