I'm not sure but they look the same, the plates where the pick up coils are mounted upon have a different number but I think that is because the mounting plate of a Z1000 is bigger than that of a Z650.
When changing the coils and the magnets take care how you place the magnets on the mounting plate! They need a specific way of mounting.

Do you know the ohms reading of the coils from new, as I have read that they need to match the coils
And the ignition system in general .
