Z1000H OEM exhausts

#1 PostAuthor: slacker » Wed Sep 07, 2022 8:28 pm

Hi, What are the stampings on an original Z1000H exhaust system? A guy has some z1000H exhausts for sale, how do I tell they are z1000H and not Mk2. I have never seen original exhausts before.

Thanks in advance

Hi slacker

the mufflers of a Z1000A3(MK2) and those of a Z1000H have the same part number: 18001-1074 (left hand) and 18001-1075 (right hand)
All the other parts of the exhausts have also exactly the same numbers for the A3 (MK2) and the H.
This information comes out of the official Kawasaki parts lists of the Z1000A3 and of the Z1000H;
The mufflers of my MK2 are stamped KHI 1000 A. As a matter of fact they look the same as the ones of a Z1000J and can be used on that type .
Go and have a look and please tell us what is stamped on the exhaust of the Z1000H, we all want to learn more about them.

I can confirm what Philippe says about the stamping for the MK2.
As he says the Z1000J exhaust fits and looks the same when it's on the bike.
