Like that one Warren, not sure about the pink springs though.
Is that a washing machine tap poking out under the tank? :D :D

Hi Al, gotta keep in touch with my feminine side with the rear shock colour :D
They are a pair of Girling shocks I had knocking about which were scruffy so took them apart and sleeved the springs with some red heat shrink and painted the metal work. I agree they are a little light but I couldn't be arsed with rechromeing them and the wait for them.
Because I elected to use VM26's bored out to 30mm the original tap no longer fitted as it hit the carb top and the tank wouldn't sit down and locate so I made a single outlet feed plate then added in a competition fuel cut off switch. Couldn't be arsed to paint the handle red. Much the same as your suggestion re plumbing supplies source.

So after a 25 mile Shakedown the only thing to fail was the poxy halfrauds number plate double sided tape! and me forgetting to take my phone for some sunlight pictures. Sorted the number plate but not the pictures. I'll add some next run out.
Question is whats a fair price for a non stock 82 J in prep for next year after registering it as historic (never seen even a stock one for sale) with gpz calipers, 1100 top end, modified neta exhaust and a 2/4 logo'd seat. New tyres, chain and sprockets and pads. New piston rings and bearings throughout. Non stock carbs but have the originals. Everything works.

Very, very nice. You can be justifiably proud of that one mate.
