Wanted - complete set of Z1/Z1A carbs in any condition, but would prefer a set in need of a refurb.
I have seen what is on eBay and am not interested in USA prices, so please, no links to those.

Re: Z1/Z1A carbs
There is a set in the states i was looking at yesterday, At £380 it would be hard to beat that.

they do, but depending on which version of VM28 you want, you won't be paying less than £1k. And I'm not saying that they wouldn't be worth that amount.

What is a realistic price so (if any one knows in a ball park) for a fully restored set off a 1975, i see 450 to 800 for the same set these days.

Thanks but no thanks.
With postage that is 555 euros = £487.50
plus 22.5% duty (2.5%) and VAT (20%) = £109.50
Total cost just under £600. Then the cost to refurb them: another £400.

I wouldn't expect to sell a fully restored set of 2170 VM 28s for less than £750.

Didn’t pay anywhere near that for the set on my Z1B last year.

I recommend Wiredgeorge Carbs Texas for a very fast efficient service and have purchased about nine sets of him, only had to pay duty once
that i remember. No idea what the exchange rate is now but always worth a look at Mr Leshos site
