28.03. - 02.04.2025 England & Trip with the ER6n

29.03.2025 - Exit to CTL on ER6n

We were in England from 28.03.2025 to 02.04.2025. From 01.04.2025 on Germans need an ETA to enter the country.
This was not yet necessary for our journey to enter the UK.

Image

We flew on Friday 28 March 2026 with Eurowings from Stuttgart to London Heathrow.

From there we took the Underground to Euston and the train to Rugby.

Image

There we were able to walk to the hotel.

My daughter had bought me a second-hand helmet for £5.00 and lent us her Kawasaki ER6n
which she had bought herself. We were able to ride it from the hotel to her house. She used to have
ever ridden this model in Pearl Wildfire Orange.

On Saturday 29.03.2025 I took advantage of the dry weather and rode my motorbike about 90 km to Cirencester
to CTL and pay them a visit. I had found the Loaction on Facebook when a couple of bikers were talking about it and
were talking about it and there were pictures.

I use my mobile phone as a sat nav, but its battery ran out just before Stow-on-the-Wold.
So I decided to make a stop in Stow to charge my mobile phone and found what I was looking for at the
Old Stocks Inn. They happened to have a cable that was suitable for charging.

Image

I took a break with a pot of tea and a slice of chocolate cake and warmed up
and warmed myself up, as it was a bit chilly. After tea, I had a look around the
around the town.

Once the battery was somewhat recharged, we continued towards our destination.
After arriving at CTL, the Kawa was parked neatly in front of the entrance.

Image

Sales Manager Thomas Perks helped me out with a USB charger for the English sockets and
sockets and I was able to charge my mobile phone during my stay there
fully charged during my stay there, so that it was enough for the way back.

Image
In the entrance area there is a restaurant where you can sit down.

Image

Several motorbikes from different manufacturers are for sale in the hall.

Image

Different model years and models were on display.

Image

Some of the unique pieces from a collection that are not for sale can also be seen.
These include a rare 650 BSA Lightning Clubman built in 1966.

Image

Of course, the Kawasaki Z-models are not to be missed.

Image

Eine Racer - Ecke ist auch eingerichtet.

Image

Buell was also on display.

Image

I chatted a bit with the local bikers, including the sales manager Thomas
Then I made my way back to Rugby.

Image

It was a lot of fun driving on the English roads.

Image
After I got back to the hotel, the family was waiting for me and we went
to the Italian restaurant for dinner.

More of the other days in Black Country Living Museum and Downtown London

My friend has an ER6n as his daily transport and he loves it.
Looks like you enjoyed your trip peter.
