I have everything ready for getting UK reg for 1976 Z900 US import (inc dating letter) but not sure what to enter for type approval on the V55/5. It does ask if its exempt from type approval and to state full reason for exemption. Were these ever type approved if so what is it or do i just state there was no approval for these at the time.

From my understanding you do not fill that part in, bike is over 10 years old and not a newly produced vehicle type.
