I read that too a while back, that all frames were painted in a gloss base coat with no clear that naturally went to a satin/semi-gloss in time, so im doing the same.

So if the forks and frame are gloss that would suggest the yokes and centre stand would also be gloss?

Also if all the engine covers are gloss, using the same thinking, the cam cover would be gloss?

Or am I talking cobblers?

Hi.
All cam covers are crinkle finish. VHT do it. The thicker the application the better the crinkle. Used it on my B2 with excellent results.

I've seen the stickers and presumed they must have been for certain variants as mine really looks not like a sticker. If it is I'm guessing they are ally and reasonably thick as the recess is 0.25mm deep. I'm glad this has been mentioned because I was about to blast it back to bare metal.

Those decals are still available new. They are in fact an ally plate as you say. They are not cheap but they look right. Z-Power normally have them on the shelf
