AVON ROADRIDERS availability.

Hi all.
Chatting to GPz750 owner in Whitby the other day and he mentioned that AVON aren't producing Roadriders. Had a quick look about and 100/90/19 fronts for my B2 seem very hard to find. Rear, 120/90/18 are more common. Is it true and should I bank some ?

Avon were bought out by Goodyear. Goodyear then discontinued road bike tyres.
So, unfortunately, yes it's true.

Thanks for the info, will acquire another Avon rear now to use up the life left in the front tyre then see what's out there.

Try vintage tyres in the new Forrest, just bought a rear from them. Yes there is a shortage at the moment but the chap told me yes goodyear have bought out Avon and have all the moulds. They are setting up in Europe and will be doing the roadriders again for sure, its just that they have have had factory set up problems and are quite a bit behind schedule, new year production start I am told.
