Hi, new member here.

#1 PostAuthor: z650andy » Sat Oct 18, 2025 9:12 am

Hi all,
I’m a new member from Scotland, I have a Z650B1 which I got about a year ago. It is actually my third Z650, the previous ones were a Z650F2 and a Z650C2.
17 years ago I was diagnosed with an illness which caused bone damage and I was told I’d have to give up bikes, I sold my Z650C2 and my GPZ1100A2.
Last year I got the chance to buy my Z650B1 and could not resist it. I will not be able to go far but it is great to get out on it. When I got the bike it was all standard except for the exhaust, personally I prefer my bikes to be more as they were back in the day so it’s now got a Delkevic exhaust, pod filters, tail tidy and a list of other things.

Thanks for the welcomes! Your bikes are lovely.

Great to know there are other Z650'S in the club.

Here is a picture of mine, I will post more in the gallery, I have a list of things I wan't to do to it but it was a good starting point.

Yep Bill, that’s the bike! It wasn’t great but it was pretty much all there which was half the battle!

Hi and welcome, doesn't matter how far you can go, just having a z in the garage is great, mine makes me smile just tinkering with it,
We all need to Enjoy them whilst we can

Once again, thanks for the welcomes.

Great to see that there are some amazing looking Z650's in the club, i'm not sure mine will ever look that good but it will be a used bike.

KevH you are absolutely right, just having it to tinkering about with almost makes me smile more than actually riding it.
