Z1OC meet at Santa Pod? How about Retro Show on 5th July?

#1 PostAuthor: AndyZ1R » Mon Jun 23, 2008 8:49 pm

Hello all,

Weather depending i should be doing my first race of the year at the Santa Pod Retro show on July 5th (Sat), how about a few more Zeds turning up to make a show of it? You don`t need to race as it`s more of a car/bike show than a race event, but if you want it`s only £20 to enter the RWYB.
Failing that it`s the Classic bike sprint at North Weald on 27th July (Sun), usually a pretty good event with a few Zeds, plus Rick and his crew on their triples. Who`s up for either? Or any other suggestions?

Andy

Hi andy are there any RYB being held a bit further up North this year. If there was one in the midlands I would be up for it.

The weekend of 5/6 July is also the VJMC Show at Uttoxeter, where the club have a stand.

Hello Padders, i thought Santa Pod was in the Midlands, you mean there is civilisation further north than that! The trouble is i`m based darn sarf so tend to keep more central. Shame about the clash with the VJMC show too, oh well never mind, i`m sure the planets will all align at some stage and we`ll get something organised. The streetnights seem quite good Pigford, a bit of a trek but maybe one day, have a good holiday. :up

I`ll have you know i had a salad in a cafe the other day, it was deep fried in batter and came with chips though. Fitted the longer rear shocks which has sorted the clearance and bottoming out, looks crap though. I`m off for a nice cup of tea and some lardy (boy) cake, need to squash those longer shocks down a bit....
