Be good to race the 2 Z's side by side Andy, what a cool picture that would make, hopefully my new ignition system along with modifications to the cylinder head are going to get me closer to all those lowered long hayabusas with nitrous currently over populating 9.50 class, and Andy dont eat any more of Pigfords biscuits, he is trying to feed us up to slow us down, then beat us

I got an e-mail back from the entries secretary, they have plenty of places left and said they need as many extra people as possible, so a day entry will be fine, the more the merrier.
A few more things, make sure you either have one piece leathers or a zip together 2-piece, plus your helmet should have the ACU sticker with 2 gold bands on it (older ones only had one gold band around the sticker) or you won`t be able to race.
Also dog tags with your name and a contact number on are usually required, though i always forget mine and they never double check, good to have them though. Plus tape for your lights, cable ties to hold everything together, and biscuits to distract Pigford on the start line.

Rain will obviously piss on the parade and the faster stuff won`t run, but i was there last year and it ended up raining, and a fair few people still raced. Some even still doing burnouts! Not exactly competitve though! The forecast at the moment is golden showers, so it`s worth the risk depending how far you have to travel.

Bike loaded on the trailer and ready, shame you can`t make it Steve. :( The next one i`m hoping to do is Senna Pod RWYB on the 31st August, do you reckon you could make that one? Should be a few triples there too.
I`ve just put a 2 tooth larger rear sprocket on to counteract the cake/biscuit diet i`ve been on, what sort of times are you hoping for Pigford?

Well........ as for times Andy,

I have managed a Family packet of DARK chocolate digestives in 17.3 seconds :!:

But I did cheat & dunked the last half dozen in me tea

As I've only done a few 1/8 miles (best 7.5 secs) was hoping to get the quarter over and done with in 11.5 :?: My gearings a bit low as she revs out in top at about 130 :|

Pigford, i`d try and get there a little earlier, as you will need to get your bike scrutineered, sign on (day entries always take ages due to more paperwork) faff about, drink tea, eat biscuits etc...
I`m aiming for 9.00 - 9.30, scrutineering normally starts at 9.00. To be honest though, they always say scrutineering at 9.00 and racing at 10.00, and they never start to at least 11.00. So it should be ok either way, errrm so just ignore what i just said!
With the gearing i`ve just changed to, mine will probably only be doing around 130mph tops, what are you revving yours to? As for those times, well a mate of mine at work who is a fellow salad dodger saw that his supermarket were doing a bogof deal on FAB ice lollies, he bought 2 packets (8 x in each) and ate all 16 that evening! Top work! (And no it wasn`t me).
