The take-off's are labelled:
E1 and E2 one side - C1 and C2 the other side (the "C" connections are wider apart).
I think the "E" connections (on left in last photo) are from the engine and the "C" are to the cooler

This was travelling at constant high speed on a standard J without cooler, although I do acknowledge that oil was sh1te back then compared with today!
Interestingly, the bike actually ran ok on the way home (around 60 miles), apart from the plumes of white smoke pouring out the back
