The bike looks excellent I will miss Donnington as I will still be working in the Caribbean. But have tasked someone to take some pictures of the Z1OC Stand and the show.

Correct Rich... Steve Cundalls kindly donated them :D
Anyway, just got back from France so will now get 'stuck in' and finish it off.

It's been a ballache but i've managed to come up with a way of mounting up to date Koito flat glass headlamps into the original bowls that sit in the fairing cutouts.... all the small jobs take bloody ages don't they ?

Also, the side stand is a modified Rickman job which has had the spring point removed and a curly foot grabber welded on, all very nice job by S+S Performance but useless for my new 'growler' exhaust. Besides, I hate the way you have to dismount the bike before you can put the side stand down.! :?? So i've modified a standard zed item and added an extra pivot point on the chassis stand bracket so it now works like a standard zed stand, much better me thinks. :D :D Image

Tomorrow I will be finishing off the headlamps & wiring. I will also be mounting the steel tank with the new larger bore taps (that include a reserve) and looking at why the rear wheel goes tight when the axle nut is nipped up.

Till then......

Good old Rickman side stands, never dug in but putting it down whilst leaning the bike over was a knack

Look for a sidestand spring with a long straight on it as it will clear your old lug and the bolt head. Std Kawa will do I think.

You'll be having the usual "one black boot" :D

I'll measure it over the weekend but I expect it'll fit no problem, looks like the top of a kwaka sidestand.
