Has anybody done one of these conversations on a z1100r. If so what size spacer did you use

It depends what front sprocket you use. Standard 630 sprocket is offset by about 4mm. So if you go for a flat 530 sprocket like JTF517 you will need to space by this amount if spline lengh will allow.

Does the spacing need to be done with 1 spacer or can you use 2 Ie. 2 x 2 mm. Or 1 x 4 mm.

Got an offset front sprocket for mine via Debben. Had to wait for it to be made though.

Talon will make an offset sprocket but the JT route is a lot cheaper. I guess it comes down to personal choice and use. Looking at it again there should be enough spline to space a JTF517 by 4mm since the boss on the centre width is only 8.7mm compared to the bossed width of 12.7mm used on the JTF522
