Gaskets

#1 PostAuthor: moizeau » Sat May 15, 2021 10:42 am

I am right in remembering someone writing that if a slither of grease is put on the gasket faces prior to fitting they come easier in the future. It's primarily for side covers, clutch and crank that will come off each year for a polish.
Cheers

Yes. Rub grease into both side of the gasket between thumb and forefinger.
It helps settlement, reduces wicking and makes for ease of future removal and re-use.
