Had a clearout over xmas, found this, can someone confirm if it is from Z1000 and what model please. If it is then I will then be selling it for ridiculous amounts of money :lol: :lol: .

Looks to be oval. Z1000 is square same as 650's. If it is oval then Z1, z1a, z1b maybe or maybe a h1, h2 triple.
Looking at your pics again I would guess a triple.
Z1000 A1.

Looks to be from a far later bike. Probably an ER5 model part number 23025-1249

Too modern for an old z1000 ,z650 or triple etc.
Looks to be from a 90's onwards machine with the plastic backing mount..

its deffo an ER5, its curved on top and bottom, zephyr looks quite flat across the bottom
