Earth question from a simpleton

Guys,
nowt to do with the 900 but I've just got myself a 650 Bonnie OIF

as a winter do-up......now I believe it's a Positive Earth.
Is this just as simple as it sounds...+ instead of -.......or am I missing something?
Feel free to take the p#ss.
Don't want to fry the delicate Lucas electrics....
Both my BSAs have been converted to negative earth but didn't really want to go down that route if possible.
