Z1 head identification please ?

Hi guys.Just brought a 75 Z1B today and have never seen a head with 2 Allen key bolts each side like this? Anyone can identify which model this head came off please?

Iv seen that before and it was an owner modification for external oil lines. Im sure there are a few on here that can go into more details and by others i mean Zed1015 as he has the modification done to his racecrafters bike.

The head is either a Z1,Z900 or Z1000 but probably original to your Z1B.
The cap head grub screws are simply blanking plugs which are replacing the original pressed in items.
The pressing in ones were likely removed for cleaning the oil galleries after vapour blasting or similar.
The larger ones behind the head nuts didn't need removing though as their rear is clearly visible and accessible from inside the bucket bore so the chap who did that has probably watched too many Millyard videos.

That’s great thanks chaps for clearing up this. I had a horrible thought that it could be an alien head of some description :roll:
