Still playing with the exhaust and decided to have a go at the silencer hanger. Was going to use the usual strap arrangment but it looked awful so had to come up with something else. I'd already fitted two threaded inserts in the rear side of the can for a mounting plate but wasn't happy with the potential for them to wear loose with vibration and twisting so i rotated the ally sleeve so the inserts are on top and came up with this bolt on mount with integral rubber bush. Another swift session with the hammers and lathe produced the stepped ally bracket and some ally cup washers to finish it off.

Aren't too sure whether i'm happy with it ?. One of my kids thinks it's too chunky but once i'd got the bike outside it doesn't seem to stand out too much. What you think ???.

Looks great leave it on. I hate it when people use too thin a bracket and the exhaust is flapping around when out on a ride.

Silencer looks just right, I'd go satin black rather than matt black though.

Mmm! Don't think that bit of pipe masquerading as a silencer would quite fit in with the STEALTH look
