Z1 Advancer
Anyone got the later advancer unit that will fit the early Z1 having some issues and want to cover all bases. It’s the one that has the advance timing marks. Thanks
Re: Z1 Advancer
Full advance on the early atd is the middle of the bob weight pivot to the right of the timing marks.
If that helps.
If this is a DYNA' S' timing problem you need the correct 3A stamped rotor for the early advancer otherwise you run out adjustment on the backplate slots.

Re: Z1 Advancer
Cheers Rob, yes I have done this on the advice from Neil but I am slowly running out of things to test and replace so my last thing I can do is change inlet rubbers and open up the valve clearances. Then I am clutching at straws. Hence the advance, sure timing is right or at least close enough. Cheers Paul
