
The filter I got out of my A4 was metal and a bit longer


So whats going on.... is the bigger one for a Z1000J... (HF126?) can either be used?

It's ok to use the 126 in all models of 900/1000 but don't use the shorter 401 in the later bikes as the holes in the bolt are lower down and the oil will bypass the filter.

i don't care what they say on the hiflow listing they are wrong as an ex kawaski mechanic going back to 1976 i know what i am talking about
