GPz11 - which black?

Trying to sort some bits out on the A1 and would like confirmation regarding bits that are painted gloss black. So far I've got ( I think)
Calipers
Master cylinders
Passenger grab handles x3
Outer engine cases
Headlight surround
Airbox side covers

I presume the forks but they're already Tough Black Satin. Can I just final coat in gloss?

I'm thinking of using Tough Black Gloss

Any confirmation or enlightenment gratefully received.

Hello Pete the master cylinder is satin the rear grab rail is gloss the side grab rails are satin outer engine casings are gloss as are the airbox covers. on mine the headlight surround is plastic as far as i know i can check tomorrow for you. and the calipers look like dark grey metallic to me unless they have faded over the years and the forks are gloss.

Thanks John. The headlamp surround I'm referring to is the bit that screws to the glass, not the bowl. Mine is metal....and a bit rusty. Cheers for the ther info.

calipers are a verylight metalic grey green mixture. if memory servers it is a Vauxhall colour its hard to define zoom in on pic to view

As we are talking colours what colour is the red in the gpz on the side casings?

The emblems on the engine casings look like the firecracker red to me the same as the body work they are still available from zpower

How do they come off ? Mine look permanent. And sixty quid each is a bit steep

It looks like a double sided sticky pad that cover the whole diameter of the badge to hold them on i can send you a couple of photo's if you like.

I've seen the stickers and presumed they must have been for certain variants as mine really looks not like a sticker. If it is I'm guessing they are ally and reasonably thick as the recess is 0.25mm deep. I'm glad this has been mentioned because I was about to blast it back to bare metal.

I did blast mine ,ive buffed it up i think ill just repaint it as i cant see it coming off without damaging the case

And the footpeg hangers? On Deka's they look gloss or maybe that's the light?
Any other gloss bits?
